Eddy Lake stands under the cold stream, water sluicing over his smooth, light-haired body as he tilts the bucket labeled PAIL just enough to drench himself. His slim frame bends to wring out a damp cloth, scrubbing his thighs before pressing it hard against his chest, the towel clinging to his skin. The bucket stays balanced on his head as he shakes his hair free, droplets flying, then he lifts it again to pour the last of the water over his shoulders.
