Apprentice Devall had received an anonymous note which instructed him to wait at a rendezvous point in the woods where he was ambushed and blindfolded with his hands tied behind his back.
He was escorted into the ceremonial room and encouraged to kneel between my legs. I reminded him that obedience was valued above anything else within the Order and untied him only when he accepted this fact with solemnity.
