Frat porn is gay porn dressed up as American college fraternity life: Greek letters on the wall, red cups, backwards caps, and a group of "brothers" who end up fucking each other, usually as part of a dare, a party game or a pledge ritual. The performers are adult men playing college guys, and the fantasy is less about the campus than about the type: the straight-acting bro who gets talked into it.

It is a close cousin of straight bait porn. The thrill sold is the same one: masculine guys who supposedly do not do this, doing it, with the excuse that it is all just a laugh among friends.

The script

Frat porn runs on a handful of rituals, repeated with endless variations:

• Hazing: pledges ordered by the older brothers to strip, jerk off or suck, framed as initiation.
• Party games: truth or dare, strip beer pong, a circle jerk that gets out of hand.
